We can take you out by boat to a pre-determined location of your choice. Here your loved ones ashes are lowered onto the oceans surface in a beautifully hand crafted shell urn. The shell urn is engineered to float for approx 5 mins before descending gracefully & releasing the ashes to the eternal cycles of the oceans water. It is completely biodegradable therefore no harm is placed on the environment so you can feel comfortable knowing that this ceremony is not only peaceful but environmentally friendly as well.

Q. How far do we travel in the boat?
A. We travel approx 10-20min out from shore depending on location chosen.

Q. Do you have a limit on guests who attend?
A. No, however most vessels used are a Category C allowing no more than 6-12 guests. Therefore an additional fee will apply to charter a vessel that can accommodate more people.

Q. What if I get motion sickness?
A. We recommend taking anti-motion tablets prior to departure. Alternatively families are more than welcome to video the occasion for you.

Q. What about weather conditions?
A. Because this is an outdoor ceremony the weather does play a major role so should conditions not permit the scattering to go ahead we are happy to re-schedule at no extra cost.

Q. How do I know the ceremony is performed if I choose an unattended scattering?
A. In this case we record the ceremony upon request as we want families to be comforted knowing their loved ones ashes are taken good care of.

Q. Do you need the ashes prior to the day of service?
A. No, however extra time must be set aside for the preparation. Otherwise we can organise local pick-up of the ashes from the funeral homes, crematorium or your house. A small additional fee is charged for pickup outside the Brisbane area.
